With the economic crisis on the rise, how can a renewable energy company survive the harsh global market? There are more than just three ways on how a sustainable energy business can thrive under the world’s current situation. But for now we will be limiting ourselves to the best tips there is. It is best that a clean energy company remain optimistic and make this economic crisis into an opportunity.

Renewable energy solutions are a great alternative for a more cost efficient living. Soaring demands for energy as well as its prizes made consumers more aware of how they use available electricity. This is where a clean energy company should grasp the opportunity. By marketing what sustainable energy could do to help people conserve. For example, cut down future expenses by installing solar panels that will help warm down water for immediate consumption. Innovate something fresh that will catch the attention of environment conscious consumers. For example, other clean energy company decided to showcase their best innovation by coming up with their very own specialized product. It could be a solar powered vehicle or better yet, a solar power home appliance that can really cut down the cost!

Going green is the best way to be. Persuade consumers that green is in! Renewable energy marketing must convince people of all ages to join the campaign. Media exposure is a must to constantly attract consumers and investors alike to join the campaign. To ease up the pressure, join the flow for low carbon footprint. People wants to see a more concrete and realistic approach to this global financial crisis. While green energy marketing sells the company as environmental friendly it is better to develop the company towards it. A low carbon emitting head quarter and eco friendly office supply may help ease the pressure on the part of the company. With a little help from the media the company can promote how much they cut costs with the help of clean energy solutions that the company came up with. A company that runs in solidarity in achieving its goal is one of the best things that you could offer to the people.

Business is not all business. Contributing to Mother Nature and sustaining future is very important. The essence of it all lies in the beauty of preserving the ecology and help build a better tomorrow. A sustainable energy company should be able to market the wonders of nature and why it should be preserved. Social awareness is as important as making profit for the company. Giving a little something back to nature might rake in the blessings someday.

Remember that renewable energy is the future of energy consumption. Production of clean electricity is what sets you apart from other energy producing companies. Competing in global market does not mean to lower standards to increase efficiency. Quality and to offer the best services as a company should be top priority to meet consumer expectations.

The majority of the electric cars on the streets today are home-made conversion cars. It is very possible to easily do an electric car conversion right in your own garage. There are many online communities where you will find recommendation and complete instructions on doing an electric car conversion yourself for a comparatively reduced cost. If you’re concerned about your emission output and the environmental damage caused by carbon dioxide, then an electric automobile could be just the choice for you.
DC controllers and DC motors are the usual base parts of an electric car conversion. The first step is to select the voltage you would like the motor to run on.

96-192 volts is the normal range. Forklift providers often carry the perfect motors and controllers for electric conversion cars. Most folks use manual transmission vehicles as the donor car. You may need to choose a donor automobile with a fair unimpaired body. You need to also choose a fairly common model auto or the donor, as you will need to find spare parts with small difficulty and cost. there are many kinds of battery technology you can select from. The subsequent choice is to decide on the kind of electrolyte. The good thing about a flooded battery is that it is minimal cost, but the top power of them is low as well .
If you select a pre-packaged conversion kit you are able to save plenty of time. These kits are compiled with the best components you will need by folks who have great experience building electric conversions. They have been tested and proven to be effective .
when you have the kit, you will need to get a roomy and clean work area to start the project. You must also be sure that you have all the parts ordered and that they will be shipped inside a fair time period. To prepare the donor vehicle, you need to steam clean the engine compartment to clear away any residual grease. If you’re using a kit, then it will come with an instruction book which you need to study and follow fastidiously throughout .

Get your electric car conversion kit at Gas2electricity.com!

You can convert your home into solar power. By using solar system to generate electricity does make your home stand out. Solar energy or renewable energy can help you to save your electricity cost by 60% annually. A single house with 2 solar systems is sufficient for daily power usage. But the problem is a solar power system cost more than $1000. In this article I will show you the way of how you can get a home-made solar system for less than $200.

Earth 4 Energy is a website which offers a web-based program teaches how to build a home-made renewable energy generator. A solar power is enough to produce electricity for 3 heaters. It is also depend on the size of the solar plate. Each house should need at least a 2 kilowatt solar power system. The exceeding of electricity which isn’t use can be sold to a local power utility company.

2 meters are required to record the solar power which being used and another to record how much electricity did the solar system generated. As a result the electricity cost is less than $10 per month which reduces the utility expense by 60%. So you won’t have to worry about how much you have to pay for the bill. A solar system not only helps to keep the environment green but save a lot of money for you. As mentioned earlier, a solar system is costly. Earth 4 Energy is a D.I.Y. home-made solar system the program show you how to build a solar power device for less than $200. In fact you can buy parts from your local store or on the internet.

The program offers an instruction manual and videos show you how to build the system in detail. The process is explained in basic steps. The program is designed for people who have no basic knowledge about renewable power system and does not based on technical content. An experienced person can use the program for new ideas and tweak their skills. Earth 4 Energy offers a cost-effective way to build home-made renewable energy system for every household.

Let me show you how to successfully create a solar system for less than $200

Recycling has become a necessary way of life. It is just as easy to throw out to trash materials that can just as easily be recycled. The question is, who is going to be the one that does it? The answer is simple enough. Just hold up a mirror in front of your face. That is the person in charge of recycling in your household.

What gets recycled? There are four basic recyclable materials. These are paper, glass, aluminum, and plastic.

Let’s look at paper first. Most recycling centers accept all paper products. Put all your newspapers into a daily collection bin. You can start by reducing the amount of paper that comes in to our house. Cancel any unnecessary subscriptions to newspapers and magazines. Do you really need the newspaper if you don’t read it as soon as it comes in?

You can cut down on your junk mail by putting up huge signs on your mailbox. Recycle things like envelopes, packing material, etc. Print both sides of the paper and whenever you can use recycled paper.

Expended dry cell batteries are hazardous to the environment. They leach chemicals into the soil. Make sure you don’t put hem into the garbage as they contain harmful metals.. There are a number of places that pick up batteries for recycling. Find out is there is one near your home. You could call your local county government council to inquire. If possible, use rechargeable batteries so that you don’t have to keep discarding them as soon as their charge is gone.

Make sure you are careful if you are handling broken glass. Most county recycle programs have blue bins to recycle glass. If you are putting glass into a general recycle bin provided by the council, just check whether they accept broken glass because some do not. Clean out all the glass articles before you put them in. You don’t want the whole recycle center smelling to high heaven!

There are so many different kinds of plastic today but the two most recognizable items are polystyrene foam and polyethylene. Polystyrene comes in blocks or popcorn. Polyethylene is used in sheets and bottles. You should keep these materials in separate bags prior to local recycling centers where you can deposit plastic products. Clean them before you put them there.

And last but not least are aluminum cans. Every family consumes multiple gallons of beer and soft drinks. These take up voluminous air space, so you have to compress them. The easiest way is to pinch the empty can in the middle and then fold the top half over the bottom half. This will reduce the volume by half. There are can compressor presses available at some hardware stores where you can totally flatten an aluminum can just as if you were squeezing an orange.

Whatever way you choose to recycle, just do it. Nobody will give you a medal for your efforts, and you will not win the award of Recycler of The Month. Nobody will pay you a cent to recycle trash, although you could be fined if you violate a mandatory recycle law. The chief benefit comes knowing you are doing your part to keep the air and waterways clean. That is a benefit we all can live by

ÂÂ

The diy water powered car has been in the news lately. It seemed amazing to us that we could easily convert water into hydrogen to run our car but we decided to give it a try.

After a couple months of research we finally found a good set of plans to produce a hydrogen generator that would power our car. We learned a lot with the project that we’d like to share with you.

What do you need to know to get started?

· Any vehicle, gas or diesel can be converted to run on hydrogen

· Detailed diy water powered car plans

· Common tools- cordless drill, wrenches etc.

Running a car on hydrogen gas is much like doing a conversion to run it on propane gas which is quite common. Anyone with the right instructions can do it.

Let’s start with the heart of the matter, the hydrogen generator and how it works.

This part is a little complicated, but after reading the instructions carefully we were able to pick it up.

Basically an electric current is passed through electrodes in a water filled container. The container is made from strong CPVC plastic pipe, so there is no safety concerns. It is perfectly safe.

The electric current stands the atoms of hydrogen and oxygen in the water on end and another quick jolt of electricity separates them.

Hydrogen bubbles float to the top and are captured to be used by your car’s engine. The hydrogen is then used as fuel just like gas or diesel.

The really amazing part is that after being burned it recombines in your exhaust to form water again, totally non-toxic.

Just think, no more emissions, no more stops at the gas stations to pay huge dollars for gas.

Did you know that gas prices are predicted to hit $7 per gallon next year? Ridiculous!

But you won’t have these problems since you will be running a diy water powered car.

Isn’t it time you got started?

DIY Water Powered Car is the best place to start with your own conversion, the diy water powered car is here to stay, save money, save fuel costs too, and get started.

With issues of climate change and global warming dominating the media in recent times, there are growing calls to reduce emissions that contribute to climate change.

With auto manufacturers developing hybrid cars that run on alternative fuel supplies – such as hybrid-electric vehicles, which use rechargeable electric batteries as well as a regular internal combustion engine – car owners could soon have a bigger choice of energy-efficient vehicles, which could not only save money but also the environment.

Another energy source for vehicles of the future is biofuel, which has been converted from vegetable oil. A small number of public transport systems around the world, such as buses and trains, have already begun using hybrid vehicles in their fleets.

With companies now researching the benefits of running cars using environmentally friendly resources, such as biofuels made with plant oils – such as rapeseed and coconut – motorists could soon find a wide range of eco-friendly vehicles available to them.

It could be possible, in future, to get cheap car insurance if you use biofuels to power your vehicle. Some companies now offer affordable travel insurance, with a portion of the policy price going towards projects to help tackle climate change

Similar policies for motorists are beginning to become more widespread, and with more companies now offering reduced rates for fuel-efficient cars, drivers could soon find themselves paying less for their car insurance if they take steps to make their cars more energy efficient.

With a wide variety of gadgets and converters to help with the process, a growing number of motorists are now turning to recycling their own waste vegetable oil in order to help power their cars.

Whether the growing trend will have any major impact on the car insurance market remains to be seen, but with petrol prices having steeply risen in recent times, drivers now appear to be considering these alternative fuels in order to help get them from A to B.

When the electrical utility bill is increasing each and every month you can do a few things. You can cry and pull out your hair; refuse to pay and get cut off and have no utilities; you could work harder and more hours each month to keep up the rising costs; or you could invest in other alternative sources of energy to cut the electrical utility bill. One of these alternative sources of energy is solar energy. And indeed, you will need to invest that means putting in your own (or borrowed) money, but the investment can make a huge difference for now and many years to come.

Solar energy is derived from the power emitted by the sun to produce energy. The sun emits enough energy on the Earth in one day to supply the needs of the world for one year. The amount of solar power that the Earth receives from the sun is estimated to be 770 trillion kilowatts or an amount 5,000 times bigger than the sum of all energy resources we are using, may it be nuclear, geothermal, or gravitational energy. The estimated remaining life of the sun is around 4.5 billion years.

Solar power is produced primarily through the use of photovoltaic cells, or commonly known as the solar cells. The process of converting solar power into electricity is as follows: The solar cells are placed under direct sunlight. The rays of the sun hits the cells initiating a chemical reaction that creates an electric current. This current is later turned into electricity.

There are two classification of solar power: passive solar and active solar. The first classification does not make use of panel systems or other moving mechanisms to produce solar power. Instead, it involves planning a structure in such a way that it can capture the rays of the sun with windows, tanks, and other permanent structure. This system can be used to provide heat to houses, water, and so on.

The second classification involves the solar panels or the group of solar cells. These panels are placed in such away that its exposure to the sunlight is maximized. It will convert sunlight to electricity, which is transformed later on from direct current (DC) electricity to alternate current (AC) electricity, and consumed it immediately or store it in batteries. It may be also fed into the grid system of the local utility.

The Pros and Cons of Solar Power

There are some disadvantages of using solar power. These are the following:

Initial costs on installation of solar power systems can be quite expensive.

Cloudy weather condition can be a problem in collecting solar power for some systems.

If you live in area where there is little sun shine this will be a problem.

Solar power can not be produced at night.

There are numerous advantages of using solar power. These are enumerated in the following items:

Solar power is almost limitless. Remember that the remaining life span of the sun is estimated to be 4.5 billion years.

It is relatively abundant.

It can be absorbed, reflected, transmitted, and insulated.

It can be stored in batteries for night time use.

Using solar power is not only a solid investment for years to come it also saves the environment. Thus this investment is not doesn’t only saves you money but you making this world a better place to live in for years to come. Investing in solar power is worth your money, don’t overlook the potential.

Much too many peoples surprise, recycling of electronic products has been around since these, now, indispensible products have been in existence. For much of that time the recycling process was more oriented toward greed with the recovery of precious metals like gold and silver being the main goal. Oddly, electronics manufacturers have been right on top of the issue, if not wanting on getting the message out that they are on top of the issue.

Owing to its heavy concentration in laptop batteries, Dell computer has become a leader in recycling and promotion of the three “R’s”; Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Most manufacturers are following the same process for reuse and recycling. This is an idea of what they are up to with credit for Dell being a leader.

There are several steps in the recycling of Dell laptop batteries, monitors, printer cartridges and alike. They include:

Getting the components to a recycling center for sorting

 Marketing v. altruism

Determining what needs to be recycled v. reused

 Extracting raw materials

Return programs

Mail back -The big deal in hardware recycling is a return label inside the new unit’s box. This one is nice because the return label is right on top where you cannot miss it, and in its own bag. For my home printer, I simply put the old unit in the new box, slapped on the return label where indicated (their sorta fussy on this) taped it up (again as indicated) and called for a no charge FedEx pick up.

Return credits – For the most part, all concerned are taking their products back if a new item is purchased. Dell will actually pay you for your recycling effort even if you recycle at your local center. Just show proof of it. Dell in particular has a good reason for reuse programs as lithium cells are easily reused and they offer a model for every laptop or electronic device (or so it would appear.).

Marketing v. altruism

Non-profits, education, less fortunate – Deciding what can be reused and what needs to be recycled is the leading “in-process” step for recycling. Ideally, these companies would like to reuse product to lower costs and increase margins. We’re not talking sainthood here for the manufacturers. However, there is a window of use opportunity where the manufacturer can take credit for giving a not-so-old unit to a non-profit. After all they will get it for recycling eventually.

Extracting raw materials – This is where Dell and the others make the cash from recycling. It’s not big money and it even costs to recycle on occasion. This step takes the entire unit and strips it right down to its most basic components. Lead for laptop batteries to silver and gold for connections. Copper is a so-so these days even though copper prices are very high because the connections are getting so small wires are becoming almost impossible to use.

Going carbon neutral is really not overly difficult, though many complain that cost is what mainly gets in the way. The truth is that while it might be expensive at first, going carbon neutral can actually be cheaper in the long run and it helps to clean the air. Going carbon neutral basically means that an individual or a business use alternative ways to get around, to reduce the amount of fossil fuels being burned, cutting down on the emissions being created by heating and electricity, turning to alternative renewable energy sources, and offsetting the carbons that the individual or business put into the air. To be truly carbon neutral means that absolutely no carbon emissions are being released into the air by the individual or business.

Going completely carbon neutral can be difficult and people are always looking for an easier way to do this. The fact is that going carbon neutral is not easy for everyone because it requires a change, though a company that has a little more money may have an easier time making the change than less profitable individuals or businesses. As mentioned before, initial costs are often blamed for the disinterest in making the changes in the business or home to eventually become carbon neutral. What many have to think about is the long-term rather than the immediate costs. Switching over to renewable energy will save on energy and heating bills and while this is saving an incredible amount of money in the long run, the business is looking good for taking part in reducing harmful emissions.

Of course, while making the changes in one day would be great, it is not easy to do; however, there are easy things that can be done in order to reduce carbon emissions and start the change to becoming carbon neutral. Five top practical things to do in order to minimize emissions would be:

•Reducing the amount of electricity being used by turning off machinery, lights and computers that are not being used.

•Reduce the amount of hot water being used, which will help save energy that is needed for heating.

•Become more practical in the use of transportation. Encourage employees to use public transportation and car pool.

•Insulate the building so that less energy is required to heat or cool the building.

•Offset emissions that are being put into the air by purchasing carbon credits.

People around the world are realizing the importance of clean sources of energy such as wind and solar power. Building wind power turbines has become a lot easier nowadays. In fact one need not be a qualified engineer to build one. Man has been using wind power for several centuries now, though it is only recently due to the rising levels of pollution that interest has been revived in them. Windmills and wind turbines can be seen making a comeback in most parts of the world for this reason.

It is always preferable that you do a bit of research on the various parts that make up wind power turbines, before you try your hand at making one. To start off the process you must first of all gather all the equipment that you would need. Construction material is the next thing that you need to decide on. Although both wood and aluminum are used to make windmills, these days aluminum is the preferred material, since it is considered more durable.

The next thing that you need to carefully plan is the location of the turbine. You must make sure that you install it in a place where there is ample open space. Remember, even the best turbine ever built will not be of any use if there were to be insufficient wind flow. The location also should be such that there is unobstructed access to wind current for the free rotation of the blades.

Homemade wind power turbines offer you a great way to save money on energy bills, as well as contribute your might towards a greener world. You can save even up to 80 percent on your energy bills, by using wind power turbines in your home.
